Minutes for the Special meeting held on June 28, 2007

Present: Dave Martin, Shirley Schofield, Robert Young, S. Rich, G. Hughes
- Maureen Stringer, property owner, attended meeting
- DM gave a brief history of the property
- MS has requested a demo permit, Joe Kent said she must come before the Sharon Historic Commission as the house is over 100 years old
- Built (1908) owned bungalow, cottage and garage studio
- 1912 old school house building, next door @ 10 Edgehill Road
- RY mentioned the need for affordable housing, thought that talking to housing partnership involved. RY gave Maureen Jane Desberg’s phone number
Reviewed the Town by law
- Structure is not an inventoried property, therefore SHC can notify the building inspector that the building is not sound and that he can proceed as deemed necessary.
- RY motioned that the bldg. not significant and notify inspector

- Motion approved
- Review responses to date (6)
- Susan to verify time and date for next meeting (August 15th 5PM ?)
- Objective for this meeting is to review and make changes to RFP

- Mansfield Street to the lake, Historic District
- Massapoag trail, Lake etc.
3. Sharon Commons
- RY reiterated the need to push the developers, boards, selectmen etc. regarding the Sharon Commons Development referring back to MHC letter sent to Coler & Colantonio
4. Cobbs Tavern Issue
July 11th meeting @ Planning Board, regarding the proposed day care project on adjacent property.
General Business
DM to write letter to Project Engineer for the Main Street project, regarding the stone wall at the Kyde’s home. Need to install stairs. Speak to the home owners first.
